Background

Started in 2002, Sabalala Consulting Africa is a consultancy firm consisting of qualified team of Development Economists, who accumulate extensive international, regional as well as local (South African) experience. Broadly, the firm focuses on formulation and implementation of Local Economic Development, which specifically involves:

• Business Development – This is a process through which business can successfully be formed, expanded and grown.  

• Community Development – It is a local based process by which local citizens take on the responsibility to plan and implement economic initiatives which ultimately empower them socially, environmentally and economically.

• Locality Development – This is a strategy that involves the development of land, infrastructure as well as policies that relate to land use in a community.
